Sun Protective Clothing:
Sun Sleeves… the convenient Sun Protective Clothing protection you need at your fingertip

Oops! Whether it’s time in the garden, a walk on the beach, or a day on the court or course, most of us don’t hesitate to slather on sunscreen these days as we prepare for a day in the sun. But even the best of us forget to bring it with us or apply it in time for it to be effective, and when we do, it’s often far from the amount we need. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, most people only apply between 25-50% of the necessary amount.
This is where we come in. Kinship Comfort Brands’ sun protection sleeves are rated UPF 50 and offer maximum protection from the sun. Our Sun Protective Clothing sun sleeves are sold in handy multi-packs for easy stowing away in backpacks, glove compartments, sports, and beach bags, and wherever else life takes you. You won’t have to worry about having them at your fingertips or replacing them as needed.
Don’t be caught unprotected.

What you need to know according to skincancer.org:
- Fabric must have a UPF of 30 to qualify for The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation. A UPF of 30 to 49 offers very good protection, while UPF 50+ rates as excellent.
- Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin.
- A UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun’s rays while allowing two percent (1/50) to penetrate.
- Regardless of UPF, if your clothing gets stretched or wet, it will lose some of its protective ability and become more transparent, exposing your skin to more UV light.
